Do you think that TV pay much attention to the personal live of famous people?

"Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Television, newspapers, magazines, and other media pay too much attention to the personal lives of famous people such as public figures and celebrities. Use specific reasons and details to explain your opinion."

I'm disagree because TV don't pay attention only to famous people. In TV talk about news, and other things, too. In TV there are very programmes that don't talk about famous people like news, debates about politics or competitives.
In the news there are several sections: International, national, sports and weather.
In the news reports of current news of the previous sections.
In the normal channel like Antena 3, Telecinco or TVE, there are three news at least. First in the morning, then afternoon and the last at night. But there are other channels like 24h that there are news all day.

In political debates there are five or six journalist who discuss what politicians do, as a new law. In the table, there are journalist who agree with the decisions of politicians and others are not, and they discuss moderately and there is always a moderator in the debates, he is very important because it shouldn't allow conflicts between the debaters.
A very famous political debates is El gato al agua of Interecomia TV, presented by Antonio Jimenez. This programme are watched by very people in Spain.

In TV there are other programmes, are competitions. In these programmes, people are going to earn money. For this, they are going to pass a test.
Pasapalabra or La ruleta de la suerte are examples of this.

I agree with this statement. It’s obvious that TV programs not only approach their subjects in life’s famous people, but we can prove that the programs with better audience are programs that centre on famous’ life.
Those programs are very famous and they are consecutive by multitude of persons, since a critic of a newspaper of national issue, from grandmother who is comfortably in her sofa.
Both of those programs are for example DEC or Sálvame, the latter might be considered the most famous, strange, funny and without sense program that we can find in the TV.
People like Belén Esteban, Jorge Javier Vázquez, Mila Ximenez, Lidia Lozano, Kiko Hernández or Rosa Benito participate on it.

The topics more agreements are gossips of famous people. Sálvame is followed by many people. Personages and journalists participating in it are celebrities and their lives are usually highly commented.
It such their audience and their repercussion that their most important personages, Belén Esteban and Jorge Javier Vázquez, gave the bells this year.

I think programs like this are very funny and I often watch them, but I also think are important other types of programs, such as series(which are also too consecutive), documentaries, movies...
